Yes thats right, I was in the right place at the right time last Friday. I went to buy a phone and ended up getting an interview setup for today. Well, I got the job as not only a salesman for CityWide Cellular but also as a repair technician. Lets just hope I can keep this job, seems like there is a LOT of room to move up!

I am part of the "house cleaning" effort. I am a new guy but it seems that I have the backing of 2 exec.'s.

So who needs some Nextel stuff? Come to me. Monday is my first day at the Wilson/28th/I-196 location. CityWide Cellular.

 

I've got sprint and I'm really considering dumping it and going with nextel. I already got an i1000plus, what kind of deals ya got to go with the phone?

My i1000 just broke.

At the part where you plug the charger in, a wire came lose, and shorted out the battery. The cost to get a new battery, and fix the short will be the same cost as a new phone....so, needless to say, I'm looking.

Nextels cellular service and customer service is a J-O-K-E
I thought sprint sucked........ya right.
If nextels service was reliable, I would be happy. But I can sit here in my room and my phone would be stationary....signal fades from full signal to no signal.....lose service for 10 minutes, the signal fading again, all without moving the phone.
And it dont hapen just here.
Roaming? heh, forget about it. Cant roam on a nextel cause of the protocal they use so if there is no service and there is an emergency, your going to die.
Anyone know if any nextel phones work any better than others as far as not losing service and such? I got an I80 right now, but will get a new phone if I can determine that the phone is my problem. However almost everyone I know with a nextel has the same problem.

You are absouletly correct. I use to work for nextel but was laid off in may. At one of the sales confrences we were told that the nation wide direct connect was a go for late december. Also, if you want the best nextel wait till december. The blackbird comes out it is a nextel/pda cross with color display.
