hahha. I'll be there along with pops. unfortunatly his car wont be ready to race cause the clutch didnt come in until thursday afternoon, and I still havent finished putting it in. it'll be done this afternoon, but I got busy at work since the clutch came in. so no time to put miles on it. we'll have it out there though as its a perfect chance to rack up some miles on it quickly out there and back.

my car will be racing though, this week I replaced the axle studs in the rear so I can mount my ET streets, added my diff. cover to help the gears live (hoping to hit 1.5's 60's again), removed the a/c comp. (again), racing wheels back on, front sway bar OFF, added 20 RWHP from last years 11.75 ET, rebuilt the trans cause 3rd gear was slipping last time at milan (only ran 12.2-.3's in cool air, but horrible 60's due to no traction from 17" drag radials), added a shift kit finally so it would shift quick-firm-and NOW, hoping to take off the muffler this afternoon too, depends on how dads car comes along and work load and stuff.
I should also add that last years times were on 3:73 gears, and now its 3:42's unfortunatly. so I might end up running 11.7 again. hopefully I'll atleast beat last years best time.

so, who's goin?

SSNthe10's, saw your car once, and saw tanners car, but never did get a chance to go find you guys or talk. sorry. dad was in the stands tapeing, and I couldnt leave him up there hanging by himself. so in between runs and whatnot, went up to hang with him. we walked around a couple times, but talked to alot of people. how was your car running? I'll have to review the tape tomorrow hopefully. see if maybe I got a run or two of your car on film.

11.91 was the only pass that everything went perfect. it was unusually hot and muggy for an M-event. Al showed me his weather station and it said 3000DA cause it was so bad. 12.000 was a great run except I short shifted 1st gear. and the first run of the day for me was a 12.16, except my switch for the lockup was missing in action when I rolled up to the line and went to hit it. so you can say the lockup switch is worth .25 ET and 4 mph. had 3 runs in the middle of 12.43, 12.42, 12.44 all at 107.x and JakeRobb suggested checking the cable. sure as snit he was right.
I only got one run after adjusting the cable, and really wasnt sure what it would do. the bracket competition was starting so I had to make a guess. my first thought was a hair faster then the 12.000 since on that run I short shifted 1-2 gear but everyting else was ideal. then Al and I figured it was a shade hotter then earlier and would slow back down to 12.00. dialed 12.00 and ran the 11.91. ofcourse I ended up running AGAINST Al on that run. he dialed 11.21 and ran an 11.21 so I handed him the first round since I broke out.
