So Bored. . . . . Part 2

Woo hoo! Studying for finals!

Too bad West Michigan has nothing to offer in terms of entertainment to break me out of studying.

I was thinking of having a west side poker game. Might have to get my *** in gear. I do know one thing that is for sure, I am having a LAN party for my birthday in Febuary. Hoping to get about 15 people with their computers, lots of beer, and about 6 different games. Gonna be a all nighter. You better be here Chris!!!

Fo' sheezy!

Which of my 6 computers should I bring?

As of right now, I have my XP Tower and my XP Laptop. With how cheap stuff is on the 'net right now, I'm taking some of my tax return and buying like 3 or 4 new PCs. Gonna build me a Linux box, a multimedia box, a Netware 6 box and maybe a Win2K advanced server box. Übergeek? You betcha!

And the Camaro deal is off. He replaced the engine with another 3.4 and now he wants $5k for it.

Bummer on the Camaro. It just wasnt the one, besides if you buy one, how can I sell you mine As for your puter, bring what ever one you want, just plan on it around the 14th of Febuary when my birthday is. Gotta celebrate my 30th like a true old man and not leave the house

I didnt think you east siders would make the drive, but if you want to you are MORE then welcome. Lots of room to crash when your gamed out, and it will be a riot. Plan on it in mid Febuary.

Dont worry Chris, it will be the weekend before or after not sure which one yet.

Hooray! LAN parties fuggin rule! One of my co-workers had one at his apartment a few weeks ago. There were 8 of us. We started playing Quake 3 around 8:00 on Friday. Played all night until around 10 in the morning. We all went out for breakfast and then crashed back at the apartment. Got up around 9 at night, played Battlefield 1941 all damn night Saturday.

All told, at the end we cleaned up about 15 pizza boxes, 8 cases of beer and about 6 cases of Mountian Dew. So much fun!

As of right now I am planning on a few different games. I want to try a tournment of warcraft 3, at least one flight sim with everyone in at once, and I have the new NHRA drag racing I think would be fun. Maybe a few laps of Nascar...but not sure on that one. Quake would be a blast.

Hey Jason, can you make the new game LAN compatiable? That would rule

Let me know what kind of supplies you need. I work with a huge PC game freak that can get me just about any game imaginable. Also, if we need it, I have access to up to a 32 port switch.

/me thinks it about time for that GeForce 4 upgrade!

I'm hoping my birthday present will be my new puter from the wife. I have brought it up everyday for the last week, and will continue until she relents I will talk to my cousin, the one I did the burnout for at curcuit city, and see what he has. He is the one organizing the techincal part of it, I just need to bring the people. I am open to suggestions on games, I'm not a huge gamer. But I have a few I like like warcraft 3, that game rocks!

What, no Moon Mist?

So are girls invited to this party too? I'm not a big video game person but I like to hang out... and besides, you need a peanut gall--I mean cheering section.
