My knees hurt just watching people ski/snowboard.

The only skis I have these days are on my snomobile.

I love to ski.... my favorite spot is searchmont in our neighboring country. Great ski/snowboard mountain. I love all the runs thru the trees and such.

I've gone to Blue Mountain in Canada for the last 8 years. About a 5 hour drive, It's CHEAP, and they usually have alot of snow! Went to Killington, VT last year and it was awesome but frick'n COLD!!!! Planning on Utah spring riding this year!

Hey, I never compared Blue with VT! All I said that it was cheap, and close. (about $310us per person for a 5nights in a slopeside condo, 5days/nights skiing, and if you want it...8 hours of lessons...ALL included) It's WAY better than Boyne, which is where alot of the MI people head to for a quick weekend of skiing. Make no mistake, Vermont was AWESOME! But unless you're flying there, you spend 24 hours round trip being on the road.

I wasn't comparing either, i was just expressing my disatisfaction in the mountain. 5 hours of driving back at home got me to killington

How far is VT from detriot? it cant be 24 hrs (unless thats round trip) its only 10 hrs to NYC and from NYC its only another 4 hrs. I imagine it would be shorter cutting through canada no?

I dont know about you guys, but id get bored going to one mountain for more thana day or two.

I think for X-mas i'm going to round up all my friends, get in the truck and hit up Okemo, Killington and Mt. Snow for 3 or 4 days

Just the lift tickets will cost ab out $250

Last year we did this bobby G came home with a broken arm after day one
