Simple Question For Anyone Running SVO 30# Injectors?

I bought, (what I hope to be?), a set of slightly used 30#/hr SVO fuel injectors off this board, from a person who lives out of state. When I examine the injector tip, it appears that the fuel delivery holes are pretty small. Now I know that Ford SVO/Ford Racing also sells 19#/hr and 26#/hr SVO fuel injectors through their Ford Racing Products Catalog. The quick question I need answered is: Does anyone have the actual Part Number for the 30# SVO fuel injectors? Or, lacking that, how can you DEFINATELY tell, (without actual flow testing of course), that I did get the 30#/hr injectors, and NOT some smaller size injector? TIA for all replys.

As triumph stated, the color should give the model pretty quickly. Each one is color coded differently to decipher which is a 19/24/etc.

Red is USUALLY the color of 30s. I bought some used from MPS and they said they were 30s. I put them in and the car wouldnt start. I put the stock MAF in and it ran great. Greg at Speedworks couldnt believe it. He then had to tune it as if it had a 19 lb injector in it. I pulled them a year later and put brand new 30s in just because I didnt like how the others had to be tuned. Come to find out Bosch made some 19s that were Red like 30s. MPS sold me 19s and I was out 150 bucks.

Red means 30s unless they are 19s. I have them at home if you want the part number off them.

Big Al, yes I would REALLY like to know the part numbers on either your red 19# or red 30# SVO injectors! This is exactly the kind of nightmare I am trying to AVOID. Like I said before the injectors were sold to me "second hand" as 30#/hr injectors but the four little fuel delivery holes at the injector tip look pretty small.

For ANYONE else who knows ANYTHING about SVO fuel injectors, it's time to share some info. The injectors I bought are indeed RED on top, (the plastic part), with a black bottom, (the steel part), and have the following part numbers on them: By the FORD logo F1SE-E5A, and by the BOSCH(?) logo 280150945.

If ANYONE can verify from the above listed P/N's that these are indeed 30#/hr SVO injectors, I would be VERY grateful. TIA for all replys!

I've got 30's in mine. I'll check them when it stops raining cats and dogs.

I checked up on this on a ford site I frequent. This same question was raised there a few times. Numerous people posted the exact same 2 part numbers that you did in response to the query.

F1SE-E5A
0280150945

I'm sure when the guys here check, it will agree with those two posted numbers.

Big Al and FiveSpeed, thank you for the info. My confidence is growing that I got the right injectors after all.

Mine are red as well. It's a good thing that I went out at lunchtime to check them. I found that my serpentine belt is self-destructing.
I hope that I make it home before it lets go.
