Well i'm spraying about a 180 shot to it now. My motor times would be better if I had a different converter. Mines to tight, the engine starts pulling at 2500 and at 3000 it really comes on. My converter now only goes up to about 1800 on motor, supposed to be a 2500 stall. On nitrous it goes to 3200 or so. Yeee Haaa Definitly a big difference. That 11 pass was the last test and tune last year, when the air was nice and cold. So far i've only been able to get a 12.02 out of it with the hot humid air, thats why I can't wait till fall.

I gotta say wow! (and it shows eh?)

I must confess, the Feeble305 has been tons of fun over the last four seasons, and your adventures make me feel like continuing it another season! However, I really am feeling the itch to get all these literally thousands of dollars worth of parts togther and assemble my port fuel injected, minirammed, all forged, balanced, stroked, serpentine equipped, ported, polished, and salivated upon 480 Horsepower 385 CID smallblock. I nearly busted my little toe a few weeks ago on a box of Comp Cams pro magnum roller rockers that my kids got into.

Nitrousing my current motor IS tempting, but I better spend that money on the Mufflex exhaust system come January. That, and a few miscellaneous parts are all that's holding me back. I simply ran out of car money!

Ya I know what ya mean. The last couple races this year, M8 and the last test&tune i'm thinking of playing with the juice a little and just see how much the kit will flow and what the Hypers will take. I have a big block that I want to do so I can run 10's. Although I do have a lot of fun beating people and then telling them it's a 305. The looks on some of there faces is priceless. Are you going to M8 this year? Hopefully i'll see ya there.

Well, I broke down and put just a little more money into the Feeble305: I ordered a new Com p Cams Xtreme Energy grind: 224/230 duration on a 110 LSA.

What the heck, it seems a little large for a 305, but nothing a little slip o' the clutch wont fix, right??

It's one step up from the XE262H that I previously ran.

Yep! All six gears work great, though 6th doesn't get much use unless I'm on the interstate. I averaged 21 MPG even with the missing cam lobes!

Cool that should sound pretty good in that 305. Mines a Comp cam 268DE with durations at 211 @ .050 intake and 221 @ .050 exhaust . Has a little bit of a lope to it, should have went bigger though.
