See the Camaro Concept Car at Super Chevy Show Milan

dragway Fri, Sat, Sun. Sept 8,9,10. This is the same show that had been at Martin 131 for 25 years. Drag racing, car show, and swap meet (used parts) along with Manufacturers Midway (new stuff).

I wish I could get that new Camaro on the scales. I wonder how far off it is weight wize from the production car.

I don't think the weight of the Concept would give you anything even remotely indicative of the weight of the production version.

I know the guy whos is going to haul the car, he works and drives the rig for GM High Tech. It will be sweet to get a real close look at it.

Will there be a free dyno there?

That seems like a strange question. Has there been in the past? Milan doesn't have a dyno onsite...

Re: See the Camaro Concept Car at Super Chevy Show Milan

Thanks for the tip, Jack.

I went to the Super Chevy show today: It was the first automotive event I have been able to attend this year. Great event, too.

The red Camaro concept model is pretty nice, albeit a bit fat in the rear. You can see how GM could easily take four inches out of the width of the rear track, no problem.

The Super Chevy show was pretty neat, and I got to have a long talk with the folks at Tremec about my T56. (In case anyone didnt know, I won the Tremec Trick Shift award last year for best conversion)
I think I'll be sending my T56 off for some bullet-proofing this fall. Funny, I just installed it, too!

The exhibition cars were cool, and so were the pro-mod cars, some of which were doing low sixes at 225 MPH.

My kids liked the wheelstanding van and the two jet dragsters the most, I think.

Anyway, thanks for the tip. It was a good afternoon to get out to the track.
