Scott K comes through again!

Scott is the man! We just finished installing the 9" he built for me in my SS, and I must say he did an awesome job. There's virtually no whine, but that I think that has alot to do with me doing exactly what he told me to when I broke it in, heat cycling it properly and all. I love how the car feels, it suprisingly made it feel alot more solid. I haven't beat on it yet, I want to make sure its good and broke in before I put any real power to it. It's a Moser housing, Trac-loc diff, 4.11 gears, Moser 31 spline axles, solid spacer, ABS, ASR, all the good stuff. No service lights, and ABS and ASR function normally. The really nice thing that you get going with Scott instead of another place is he helps you install it! He did it for an awesome price too but you'll have to take that up with him. Great guy to do business with, and I wouldn't hesitate for a second to do it again.

And Scott, next time, don't pull on the torque arm

YEP! He built my 9" too! I've got about 2500 miles on it and it is still VERY quiet! I went with 4:30 gears though. Scott is the man! Now I just need some slicks to solve my traction problems!

Hey Scott, I have a friend who might need some work done to his stock 10 bolt. I think he just needs a rebuild and maybe a limited slip differential and 4:10 gears. I gave him ur e-mail, his name is Brad if thats ok.

thanks , i am working on some custom solid pinion spacers right now so maybe we can use 1 in his axle. i've been talking to a local machine shop and have come up with a bushing steel that is cut then heat treated so they will not crush under an impact gun, unlike the ratech you can only torque it to 250 lbs. then it is to soft and it crushes.
