Thumbs up For Sale: 1990 Plymouth Laser turbo

The car should be back together after this weekend, I hope. It will have a stock head back on it again but I'm pretty sure it will still run a 14.0 @ 99 mph or so. New timing belt. Tensioner & water pump have 18k miles on them. Balance shaft belt has about 15k miles on it.

Here's the scoop:

1990 Plymouth Laser RS turbo- FWD, 5 speed. Trans shifts beautifully. PW, PL, cassette, A/C (needs recharged. Was already done with R134a once). 126K miles. Boost controller and boost gauge (30 psi).

Asking $3300 firm w/ stock rims & tires. Can purchase aftermarket rims + 2 Nitto drag radials that are basically new for additional $250.

For a pic of the car, click here!

Scott nice looking car. You guys have to stop posting cars for sale. My kid reads these and keeps asking me to buy them for her. Yours is the second one this week she ask me about. I just don't have the money right now with all the med bills.
Everyone Scott is a nice guy who takes good care of his cars. He is like most car people and when something is not right he repairs it right away. I would not have a problem buying any of Scotts cars because I know they would be right when he sales them. Good luck to you buddy.

Thanks for the kind words, Chris! Hopefully I can sell this car before I move. As soon as it's back together it goes in the Auto Trader.

Scott before you do that bring it over to my house and we can put it out front. I have sold a few cars all within a couple of days. Don't spend any money to sell it. I can do it for you for free. Call me at the home # 586 558/6694 or cell 586 344/2772. I sold my trunk out front in two hours. I had my Buick out there for about 3 days. This is a very heavy traffic area. We can park it in the back yard at night and put a club on it. I also have a ADT alarm system that if anyone goes thru the gate it goes off. I like make sure to protect my things. Not that I ever have had a problem at home.

The engine is not quite back together yet. It's about 80% done. Ironically, a $150 factory upper engine gasket kit is missing some of the gaskets you need to replace a head! I can't get one of them at the local auto parts stores so I have to go order it from the dealer tomorrow. I'm now shooting for next weekend for a smoothly running automobile.

Chris - Thanks for the offer!!! As soon as it's running, I'll give you a call. I'll need to clean it up before I can bring it over. I'll also want to put a few hundred miles on it to make sure everything is okay. I'd be glad to throw you the money I'd otherwise spend on an ad to park it at your house. I wouldn't expect you to put up with the hassle for free.

The car is now running and ready for a new home! I'd like to sell it before I move to Mississippi in 3 weeks.

Shoot me an email if you are interested.

Yeah, I still have the converter. I had a buyer for it once, but he backed out at the last minute. I was about to throw it on Ebay so your timing is great.
