Rearend Work - suggestions?

Does anyone know of a good shop in South-Eastern Michigan that does good rearend work? At the end of August I totally blew my posi out at the strip and I am going to just try to rebuild it and add a girdle for a little more strength. I am go I have the rearend dropped out and was thinking of just taking it to a shop when the time comes. (probably mid-march) I don't have the know-how or the tools to do it myself. I am also going to do a gear swap from 3.42s to 4.10s.

Anyone have a suggestion on a shop and a guestimation of what labor will cost to do the ring and pinion and differential install?

why pay shop prices?

i can rebuild your axle for alot less than a shop. i used to work at DTS and have been rebuilding axles at home for years. just ask around.
if interested call me at," scott" @ 586-801-8046.

Red5.7,
I'd be happy to help you out with your rear end. If you took it out and brought it to me that would be very easy. Sounds like extra work for you though. It's up to you. You can call me at the above number James gave you. Whenever. If you have Scott do it then that is fine, he sounds like he has a lot of experience also. Which is what you want on something like a read end job. Good luck!

I tried to stick up for ya Drew. Where was Harold and all the other guys when you need them?? Andy is really good but it sounds like Scott is closer to you.I have heard that Scott is very good also and knows his stuff. I had to try to sell Andy though.nothing personal. Sounds like no matter what way you go,your rear will be set up properly.just as long as Scott does'nt get his hands to far up there.Sounds like that would hurt!!J/K
