Today the Car will be started... for the First time in a while...

Just added Hooker Lt's - XE 230/236 - 1.6 rr's - new valve springs - pushrods - plugs and wires.

Today all I gotta do Is put the starter in. Adjust the lash and all the little things like radiator, altrenator and find where all the hoses and wires plug in...

Anything I should look for before I crank the Key?

How the hell do you do that before you fire it? You mean just fill the waterpump?

Turn it over by hand and adjust the lash... otherwise you'll have oil everywhere.

Even if you adjust them with the engine on and the valve covers off, you need to have done it with the engine off first.

Doing it with the valve covers off is like a fine tuning.
