Im hopin for 12.4s NA and 11.4s-11.2s juiced with a 125 shot.

what do you guys think? what about a 200 shot? dont think my eng. would hold that too long though, so thats why Im thinking 125hp shot.

You can get it certified at, I believe a local fire department.....I cant remember where its done at. Basically they take the valve off and look for cracks and then re-certify it.
Call ramchargers or ask PhantomTA.
I got pics of how mine is mounted in my tire well, but it doesnt show what you want to know.
But since your close, you can come by and look yourself. Maybe next week when it gets warmer I can meet you somewhere since ill be in the heights anyway.
Mine is on a piece of wood, but me and a friend were going to design an aluminum piece with brackets built in for it......just never did it.

i think the fire dept is the place to have it certified. i think any place that suppleies welding companys with there gas will certify it too. both my bottles arent certified and i have never been refused for a filling. not saying that it is very safe, do at your own discretion.

Denny if you need bottles let me know...i may be dumping one or two

well, I talked to a guy on an ebay auction and he says there is no date on the bottles anywhere. how would it be not certified then?

also, email me w/how much you want for what size bottle, I may be interested if I need one. been looking on ebay but would rather buy from someone I know and is local.

I dont know what moron you talked to on ebay, but hes is not very smart. The date is stamped into the botte near the top. Its a series of numbers and the last 2 are the year.
If you try to fill at ramchargers, depending on who you get, they wont fill an expired bottle. Its supposed to be unsafe or what not. But I used to work there and know people so it dont matter.
Aslong as you dont use a torch to heat your bottle or throw it around, your fine. I only use a bottle heater so I know my bottles are fine.
I got a 20lb bottle I dont want anymore. $100 to whoever wants it. It was painted purple and is an NOS bottle. It just dont fit in too many vehicles.

thanks Alpine (forgot your name already), I plan on seeing your setup/car soon so let me know when I can come over and check it out. I may be interested in the bottle depending on what I work out on my N20 kit and what year the bottle is. how long are they good for? 3yrs? 5 years? where can I get it checked out? anyone know for sure? I cant believe noone has had to do this before.
