What was the deal with that guy again?

Are there really that many Supras down in the Detroit area?
Without getting too nasty, let me summarize.

Paul showed up on CamaroZ28.com a few years back... talked a BUNCH for smack. Now mind you, the car is very nice. SP61 single turbo kit, big HP, but unproven at the track or the street.

He ended up racing a certain twin turbo LS1 car from a roll... and apparently was putting a nose or more on him... and it all went bad. Threw a rod through the block. He pulled over, all the f-body guys pulled over. Waited for the tow truck together, helped him load up, help hide his nitrous bottle from the State Troopers who showed up, etc. And then he went home and listed the TT LS1 as a "kill" on his website.

Since then, he has had nothing but excuses and avoided any other race. Apparently there is a conspiracy to supply Paul with nothing but bad sparkplugs and crappy tires. He also asspacked a car on Gratiot and did THIS

I have talked to somebody who has purchased a kit from them. He said it looks nice, but he hasn't installed it yet. This guy knows cars very well, now has an MKIV Supra after owning an LT1 Camaro and a GN. So I'm waiting for his word on the kit in the spring. Should be interesting.

Anyway, that's my summary. I'm sure this thread will be locked by tonight

Why? We have been uncovering some lost souls around here lately. The last one was up to no good... at least Paul seems legit

Paul was on gratiot the end of last year.. i was riding in rods TT car and Stenod had his TT out. Harlan was in his car (freshly built) and all but pulling the tires from a roll!
Paul wanted nothing to do with Matt but would do the get on the gas and let off when the other guy wasnt racing thing..

lol

hrmmm... cardboard, eh?

Should I be worried about the competition from a PO box, guys? Don't worry, 400/500/600/700rwhp supras all have one thing in common... 12 second timeslips and excuses. We still build good american muscle so you guys can continue to rule the streets here in Motown.

Who knows, maybe these guys will come to an actual track event and surprise us one day.

How about you just mention the troubles regarding Paul only. You're dragging Dimitri into this, too, by listing their webpage.

I will add, that the person I know with the kit, said that he has dealt only with Dimitri and that Dimitri has been great.

at that point, its all about traction on the street (assuming your on street tires).

my stock headed 383 would ROAST tires at any point in 1st gear...
i'm sure a car like has no problem doing it in second either.

anyway, i'll be working 2 jobs next semester so i'll be out there in a 383, DFI and a big *** bottle
along with plenty of suspension

try me, I dare ya

I cant wait till some riceboy reads my plates (VTECTHS) and gets his panties in a bunch.
I wont even think about going easy on him. Every fuel pump will be pumping, ever soliniod will be open and my foot will be through the floor.

if a stang guy or something like that relativly stock pulls up i'll play nice though. I saw NY get over run by ricers. not letting it happen heere
