I know that this is not the best place to ask this ,but mostly everybody on this board is pretty car smart. So here it goes,I was thinking of buying a 92 (GULP!) Mustang LX 5.0. The car is very clean inside and out. No rust on the body or doorjams or under the hood. The engine looks fairly clean. The guy said it was totally stock. The tires look like they have alot of tread left. What I need to know is how much this car is worth. Thanks Again for all the EXPERT advice!!!!!

 

if its a hatch back..check under the carpet where the spare tire is for rust..youll have to pull the carpet up and such. and check mostly in the back of the car underneath it for rust..what kind milage does it have? most i looked at when i wanted one before i got my formula ran around 5-6k and up with around 60k on em..i sure do love fox body mustangs..thats gonna be my next car probably...

 

I do not know about the mileage. That was the 1 thing I forgot to check. I am going to look at the car tommarrow. I just looked at it real fast today. The car was unlocked so I looked around a bit. The price is 3600 dollars. It has a hatchback, not a trunk. Thanks for the response.

 

if its a clean straight and solid car thats a damn good deal..when i was pricing them they were awfully expensive..just check in the back for rust..where is it at..maybe i can check it out with ya if its close by..
