The nova comes roaring by and looks at me like he's the king of the world. Next light, I let the people in front of me go a little and kept it in second (auto). Juiced it a little at about 3 grand and the car flat out gets up and the look on the guy's face at the next light was priceless :-). The vette didn't wanna have any fun. I understand though...If I spent 50 grand on a car only to lose to a 18 year old with under 10 in his car (including initial purchase), I wouldn't wanna race either ;-). Maybe my car was too loud and he couldn't hear his talk radio .

 

you can literally break down vette owners in 4 catagories

%40 dont race period.. they have no reason to, dont want to, they just like the vette.

%40 wont race f-body's mustangs etc because they ARE better than you.. so they wont waste their gas

%5 Think they are bad *** and race anyone and then get PISSED if you beat them.

%5 Really cool car guys, most of these guy's will actually talk to you and are interested in cars other than theirs..

I THINK Dave forgot to mention that the other 10% usually hit a pedastrian or another car while racing, hence cancelleling the whole DEEL out! Dave assumes you know this by reading the papers!
