I usually go through Sarnia/Port Huron in the early afternoon but if there are a few people free in the Detroit area my sister and I could pass through there as well and stop off for an hour or two.

 

You're taking the 402?! I'm in Brights Grove, ON right now, 15 min from the bluewater bridge. I'm right off the Mandaumin exit which is maybe 12 kilometers from the border? I would have thought the 401 through Windsor to Detroit would have been faster coming from Toronto. Anyways, be careful coming across that border, weekends are a REAL nightmare. I've waited 6 or 7 hours at times, its terrible.

Are there any jewellery discount outlets in Detroit? I'm looking to pick up a rolex and movado or oakley watch. I heard Zales Jewelers has an outlet in Chicago.

Nope. I live just north of Grand Rapids (the other side of state).
Though I grew near Detriot (Pontiac).

I wish I could meet you. I remember you from the days back on the Fast Toys website back in 1999.... Unfortunately I am tied down in central Michigan with a combination of work and kids.
