Paint code question....Timberwolf?

Does anybody know the paint code/name for the orange that they used on the first gen camaros? The orange that was often used with the black stripes. I am going to do that paint scheme, but no one seems to know what it is called. Its not huggar orange is it?

Thank You

Charlie

well, here's some resources to check out:

Looks like it's hugger orange to me

If you use it though, go two stage. Obviously they didn't have that in 1969, but I have seen them with base coat/clear coat jobs and they look GREAT! I din't think orange would look all that good with the clear, but it does!

Hey Mike, thanks for your help! I think huggar orange is about it right now. I will do that 2 stage that you are talking about, I have seen that on an Olds 440, he also used like a real fine metalic that kind of....woke it up a little. I might do that as well. When I get it done I will send you pics, it wont be for a little while, maybe I can even get Killerjello to pait it up for me.

Thanks again

Charlie
