Harold,
I hope your project is coming along well, look forward to hearing your times. I have a few questions since I know you sprayed your car and had about the same size cam I have in mine. I wanted to know what you put your shift points at for your car. did you keep it at around 6500 even with spraying it? Also, what size shot did you use and did you upgrade the fuel pump at that time? What system did you use, NX... NOS Etc?
Thanks,
Hey Chris,
Can I get your number.. I may have some work for you... a small job but I can't do anything else until I figure out my car problems.
Thanks,
Bill

Thanks James. Dropped my load off in PA, and they said bring it home. I'm sore all over, so I need a day off. Back on Sun. PA sucks, too many dam hills, esp when you are loaded with 8 Jeeps and a Ram. Yes, the Ram has a dam Hemi, you idiot!! You wouldn't believe how many times people ask that.
Anyway. Bill. I think you are thinking of the TR224, right? I pulled that cam out, and last year went with a 232-236 on a 112, with lift in the .600 range.
With the TR224, I ran the rev limiter at 6600, the shift points at 6400. I sprayed a 100 shot to it. I only felt confident with taking it to 6400 on the spray, because I had the dual springs.
With the 224/100 shot, bottle at 1100 psi, the car pulled 481/425 HP/TQ.
Motor runs with the same 224, show 380/340 HP/TQ. TQ # seem to be low, but are never going to show up right with a loose convertor, so dont place much stock in that, unless you are running a lockup switch.
I did not upgrade the fuel pump, although I am right now
I had no problems with the stock injectors and stock fuel pump, even with the 232/236 cam. So I'd say you will most likely be ok in that area, up to 480 HP. Maybe beyond, but my actual experience has been up to 480.
I used a Compucar system.
