How would a set of ported LT1 heads with larger valves compare to a set of stock LT4 heads? My wife won't let me buy the roadster so I'm thinking of going the LT4 heads/cam,52mm TB, 12 bolt w/3.73's route.

Ported LT1 heads are great, they will outflow LT4 heads easy, but ported LT4 heads... thats another story. The LT4 hotcam is great, a guy I know has an LT4 hot cam kit and hes pretty quick. Do not buy the whole LT4 conversion kit though, its way way way to expensive. You should only pay $300.00 fot HC kit (brand new) and another $500.00 for a port job. There are guys on here that can hook you up really good.
