Talking One more day and it's MARCH!!!

Is she gonna come in like a lion or a lamb???

I have almost decided, to once again, make Milan Dragway my home track (pending traction)! I have two track championships there so the place does hold a special place in my heart. Plus it's 30+ miles closer than MMM.

Current plan is to go back to basics and bracket race this year and to do it more than once a month. I always found that I had to do it almost weekly to get good. Now I have to to get use to using my ET Dial-In Predictor.

God Bless,
HInk

30 miles closer? That's only like 15 minutes. Stay with MMM.

good luck on the bracket racing, Hink.
I was hoping to line 'm up this spring, but unless I end up getting some kind of sponsorship, I'm officially out of money for the MR385 project.

I've got a lot of appointments with doctors & such for my son, but things are starting to look up for him... I'm finding a *little* more time, but the last three months have been overwhelming.

Well, the MR385 project is down, but not out. I got a sponsorship from Air Flow Research (a very small one, but a sponsorship nonetheless) and I'm working on a couple others.

Here's a page that covers my most recent progress.

...and here's the Miniram after detailing.

p.s. I just ordered an 8 point roll cage "on faith". I hope the wife understands!

I'm hoping every thing I keep hearing about milan is ture, if it is and it hooks that where I will be doing most my testing this year. As I can't say much for the slip and slide at mid mich.

Ohhh yeah, it's a riot! I got a 5-point harness after nearly wrecking the first time out on the street with the race tires: I made a super-sharp left hand turn, and I squirted out from under the seatbelt, smacked my ribs into the center console, and let go of the wheel. I nearly ended up in the trees.

Then, at Gingerman raceway, I had to cut a lapping session short after my co-pilot (who was videotaping the lap) asked me to pull over so that he could puke! Neither of us ever guessed that four laps of looking through a viewfinder, and also trying to hold on could give you car sickness!

BTW, 1.05g was measured as SUSTAINED acceleration in both left and right hand turns for up to 3.5 seconds apiece. The peak acceleration at the apex was 1.27 g. The secret was the Goodyear GSCS road race tires, with a treadwear of 20. Once heated, they stick to the road like, err, glue. In fact, once heated, they stick to everything, including gravel, sticks, dead birds, you name it.

DAN... sorry to hear the MR385 and your son aren't doing so well. Will say a prayer for your son but I cannot say one for the MR385 as that is a creature spawned in Hell!!!

Good Luck my friend!!
