Since we're talking about the age of people who are NOT on this board, I might mention the fellow who lives down the street from my parents. I bought his '84 Trans Am in 1990, and just this summer, he was talking to my mom. It seems he was mulling the purchase of another sportscar after 13 years of Cadillacs. I quipped to my mom that if he buys a Corvette, that I'd buy it when he decided to sell it in the future. Well, guess what? George just came home with a spanking new 2003 red Corvette! He's 73 years old, and I'm in for it if I have to make good on my promise anytime soon!
