Steve-show Merkle who the boss is. He won EFI last year and won the first 2 races this year. Someone needs to take him down a notch.

Can just anyone enter into this? And if so, do I need to bring anything special? (I don't have a roll cage or anything)

Gates open at 8 am. Qualifying at noon, 3 and 6 pm. Eliminations start at 11am Sun. You need to figure out what class you want to enter. I think you need to join NSCA and then pay to enter your class. Find out where tech is and get car teched. Helmet is required, but cage is only needed if you are running 11.99 or quicker. EFI class is probably best for you. You have an index of every 1/2 second and try to run that number without breaking out. I was trying to run a 12.01 on a 12.00 index.

Steve Quinn was FLY"N tonight on his first pass!!
WOW
cRaZy ET and MPH out of his all motor small cube LT1
Very serious 9 second pass
second pass he did a wheels to the sky ...like the whole underside in your face!!!!! and he sit it down soft and put a low low 10 at 137mph
sick new set up for induction

Theres a very good car count at the track when I left at 9pm with trailers rolling in with plates from all over the US.
They are having a special bracket class with a $30 entry fee to race without being a NSCA member. Dial in bracket race with three rounds of test/qualify passes on saturday and eliminations on Sunday.
Come out and race one and all!!

Isn't Milan IHRA? That would be 11.4999999 before you needed a cage.

Saturdays action saw the following world records get surpassed.
Outlaw Prostreet had Mark Dantoni in his new 41 Willeys [sp?] set both ends 6.59 @ 215 mph
Super Street now has 7.25 @ 195+ as done by Doug Smith.
Drag Radial had Filliposki in his new 4th gen Camaro powered by a single turbo SBC BLOWTHRU CARB set up bust the standing 160 mph record.
165 MPH was his number on a pass where he over powered the first 150 feet of the track.
All of these guys have to back up the passes as all of these runs were done during the second round. The start of the day was a wet one, that had the track crew working there tails off to get first round started well into the day.
Third round was called due to the weather.
Todays looks like the weather will hold to get the Race in.
High noon the elimination action starts today!
Its gonna be a good one for sure because the words flying around yesterday were: " MAN THIS TRACK HAS TEETH!"
..Great job being done by the Milan staff!
Our Class, Ramchargers American Musclecar has a huge field of great looking machines. These guys are some index running warriors
Time to get back down there.
Jeff

ps..
..Man its nice having Street car shoot out in your back yard.
