im planning a get together for the f-body crowd in or around northern MN, anyone is welcome to come if your from michegan or the cities or wherever just as long as you want to make the drive.

the get together will be held in Bemidji at the rotary pavilion at the lake bemidji water front. my mom works in the chamber building right there so ive already scheduled to use the pavilion and the parking lot for that day.

there is a covered pavilion, barbeques, picnic tables, a playground, there are 2 docks within walking distance if you want to fish, the famous paul bunyan and babe statues are there so you can take pics with PB&B, its right on the lake so its a beautiful view and its right next to the main drag so everyone driving by will see all the beautiful cars and can stop and take pictures and its far enough away so noise and stuff isnt a problem, its the best place in bemidji i could get, its also very beautiful and is going to make an awesome get together spot.

the festivities will begin in the morning around 9:30-10:00 AM, if this is too early for some of you people let me know, i can probably bunk 1 or 2 people at my house without my parents goin nuts but i can work with you to get a hotel room if needed. we'll have all the cars parked in the parking lot, you can take pictures, converse with people, get to know one another, theres barbeques there so theres gonna be steaks, dogs, and burgers cookin or you can bring your own stuff.

as far as drinking goes, if your a responsible adult and can drink in moderation without causing a scene and giving off a negative image then i see no reason why you cant, but thats all i ask is to be respectful and dont abuse.

the conversing will go till around 12:30-1:00 then we will be heading out to smokin guns paintball range to play a little paintball! im friends with the owners of the shop and could probably get the course reserved for that day for next to nothing. im not guarenteeing anything as far as price goes but i cant imagine it will be more than $50 for a full day of paintballing, that gets you everything you need, gun, paint, mask, everything. dont worry if youve never played before its one of the funnest things you can do and its very easy to pick up, im not very good at it but its really fun.

when your paintballing an hour can fly by really fast so im guessing we'll probably quit around 5-6 and then depending on what everyone is in the mood for, some people can go have dinner at mcdonalds or one of the many good resteraunts in town. i would like to see everyone stick together and we could have a cruise through town and we can get somewhere to push a bunch of tables together and we can have a big feast. some of the resteraunts in town: applebees, green mill, perkins, ground round, country kitchen, bonanza, peppercorn, and theres probably 1 or two more resteraunts but those are the main ones, so we have alot of choice of good resteraunts.

since paintballing and and the resteraunts might get kinda expensive, i will let everyone pay what they want to pay, im not asking anyone for anything. ill eat the cost of the charcoal, steaks dogs burgers buns all of the stuff for the barbeque if you guys will show up! i want a good turn out and i want to make this work for everyone and i want as many people to show up as possible! im planning this a few months in advance that way i can move stuff around to better suit peoples needs..

basic run through of the days plan:

saturday, may 21st, 2005
9:30 - arrive at rotary pavilion, eat lunch at around 11:30
12:30 - leave pavillion, have a short cruise out of town to smokin guns paintball
6:00 - leave smokin guns, cruise through Bemidji (majority of resteraunts on opposite side of town from SG's)

after eating, everyone parts ways and has a safe drive home
