Rebecca (PurpleHaze95, not the other one), you said winter was over. Well what's this crap then?! GNAR!

Guess there's no hurry to get my car done.

It's a slight cold spell. Remember, "seasonable" spring temps for MI are in the 50s, maaaaybe the low 60s if we're lucky. Those days earlier this week when we had temps in the 70s were unseasonably warm days. Summer teasers if you will.

Yeah I know it sucks for us, but think of those guys in Iraq right now... with day after day of blistering sunshine and temperatures around 100 degrees, they'd about give their right leg for some cold rain like this!

It could always be worse.

What did the weather end up doing over by you? It's just been rain here...

Rain and hardly over 30. It's been raining all day, 4:30 this morning I got up for work and looked outside, I wanted to turn around and go back to bed. Well, I'm like that everyday, but today was worse. Or someting. Anyway, I still don't like the weather.

Thumbs down

Yeah, it sucks out there. Freezing rain and $h!t?!

It was like "spring" for a couple days last week..............I even had the T's off a couple times.

I guess they'll have to wait for a while now. So will the track!

Talking

Well, the freezing rain is still coming down, so while I was just on my way home from dropping a buddy off after the bar (don't worry, I didn't drink too much) I thought I'd swing through the 'ol high-school parking lot for a quick "round" or two! Well, idiot me got f'ing STUCK!!!!!!!!! Literally, my old HS is almost across the street, so I'm not far from home, but there I am, in the middle of the lot, stuck in about ~3-4" of freezing rain / snow!? I tried rocking the car back and forth, and that wasn't working at all, so to save having to call a friend, a tow truck, or Dad, I left the car in drive (God bless the AUTO!!!!!!) got out, and pushed it myself from behind!!! I had to rock it a few times, but it finally crept out of the rut, and I ran and jumped in!

The moral of this story is: A) Freezing Rain sucks, and B) Pete's an idiot!!

Out here it's just coming down as a mist. I went to be late last night (about 3AM actually) and it was raining really hard. But I'm suprised, theirs not as much ice out their as I expected, most of it has already melted.

Let's just hopethis is the last time we see this stuff until next winter.
