Red face NEW TRACK TIMES!!!!!!!

Well the Rustang made her maiden voyage down the 1/4 last night.Needless to say I was less than impressed,But it was expected.I was thinking mid to high16's or even a low 17.The trans is acting goofy. It shifts at @ 42 to 4300 when left in drive. When it shifts it is still pulling then it dogs right down when it slip slides into 3rd.Track conditions at Firebird Intrntl raceway were less than optimal.I saw no track prep whatsoever. There was some pretty fast stuff out there laying some rubber down for us street tire guys.I spun pretty bad off the line.Kinda funny cause it won't break them loose on the street.I only got one run in due to somebody dropping tranny fluid all the way down the track. They shut that lane down and ran one lane the rest of the night. I was sleeping on the tree i cut a .957 R/T (ouch). 60 foot was 2.470,and 1/4 E.T. was 16.097 @86.89mph. I think when I get my tranny problems worked out then I should get in the 15's easy.If you know anything about Ford AOD's throw some info my way.

James
