I've hung around these boards on and off for about three years now so I figured it was time to post. I live near Kalamazoo Michigan. I've owned two Camaros so far; traded in my 1998 Z28 for the 2002 SS that I currently have. Unfortunately I haven't participated in many "car" activities, so I'm posting here to try and find out what everyone in the area does!

I noticed some postings about LAN parties and local hangouts, as well as the trip that's planned for Cedar Point. My free time is limited (I work full-time and attend WMU part-time) but I'd like to try and get in on some of these things. When it comes to LAN parties, the guys I usually play with would probably be interested in attending too.

At any rate, I thought I'd kind of introduce myself.

glad to see ya post. With spring and summer coming fast we will have alot of stuff going on. Almost every weekend has something to do that one of us from the board will be at. You will have to come to the race track with us some time at Martin. Just stay out of the sand traps...

Mmm... Martin... I am so there. I took my 98Z out there for a few runs when I first got it, but haven't had time to get my SS out there. I hang out with a couple other guys that both have 2001 Ws6's, and we tried to get together last year for Martin but never made it. I can't handle missing it again this year with it being so stinking close to me.

Just to give you a idea, when I first started posting I knew no one. After 1 season of posting I must have meet at least 20 to 30 people, and quite a few that I consider to be good friends now. This board is a VERY cool place, and you will meet some good people on it.

So... judging from your forum name I'd guess you're a James Bond fan?

And for all you guys who are hoping that I'll get all upset like I just bumped into someone at a party wearing the same dress... Not happening, sorry.

Q-man is right on the money with this one. I just joined the board last summer and already I have made so many friends. And, it has also helped me fall in love even more with my car. You'll really enjoy it here, and you picked the right time to stop lurking and start posting. Spring has arrived and soon all the fun car stuff will start.

Purple Haze Beccas been here around a year, the new Becca registered in 2000.

And the pic of the car is a nice looking red 35th LE (definitely not purple!)
