New PBs at St Thomas

It was well worth the drive today, met a few new friends and hooked up with some old ones,Taner,Jen and Roman.

Taners new set up is awesome, wheels up launches

I will let him tell the rest

Right off the highway with a short cool down,I ran a 2.02 60ft(25psi) and a 13.614@101.28

Barometer was 100.40 so it was ok air not great air.

The car kept getting a little quicker each pass as I aired the tires down, running a 13.551@101.40 w/a 60 ft of 1.941 on 20 psi.

Then I swapped in the Taner Bosnali Racing Ported MAF ends

Aired the tires down to 18psi and ran a 1.962 60 ft and 13.501@101.80

I wanted one more run at 16 psi but some assclown in a 76 Nova Oiled down the whole track at 3.30 and they did not get it cleaned before 4pm

I think its got a 13.3 with traction on a good air day, then I will bolt on the juice

New PBS Today 60ft 1.941 Et 13.501 and mph 101.98

thanks Tom!

it was definitely an experience, after my second run and seeing roman's face when i came back to the pits almost had me worried, then he told me how high the front wheels were off the ground, holy mackerel!!
as far as times went, i earned a new p.b on mph ....121.60
and et of 11.3 , i ran the big 28" tires on motor and well i don't think i had enough gear to get me out of the holee with those tires, it would bog at the top of first

then i had the electrical gremlins pay me a visit car stalled at the end of one of my runs???? unplugged my msd 6al, and then i noticed my ground wire was energizing when i was cranking the motor from the bump start as i started lashing the valves.

Thanks Steve,Get your times in your sig,you had PBs as well
your stone stock A4 ran a 13.795@100.00

If your car responds to mods like most others,a stall converter and headers should have your car running 13.2

edit for spelling

Taner your set up should get you a 10 on the engine

It is awesome just to watch it leave

You and Roman will get the electrical gremlin sorted out.

Then with luck we will get a good air day(high barometer) and you will get your 10 on the engine and I will get my 13.3

At least a foot of air on a couple of runs,it was something else,it would pull the tires, bog, then plant and run like a scalded cat

It must have been fun to drive for Taner as it sure was fun to watch

well i am going to get out there in a couple of minutes, disconnect the battery and i bought some 4 gauge ground straps from autozone today i am positive i melted a few of the msd related wires! grrrrrr!

HInk,

i will send you a pic and a video! me likes! as far as guessing how high, i would say at the very minimum 12" at the maximum 18" so it is pretty cool to watch.

steve,

you and jim want to help me j/k. i will be in T.O. AGAIN this week F#!@!!!!!!

almost forgot to update my signature.

Put a heavier flywheel in and that bog will go away!!

I'm hoping for a little higher tire action this year with the 4200 converter and 2.77 (MOST you can get) torque ratio.
