Angry New Format

What does everyone think of the new format here?????????It is set up like this on one of the Mustang sites I go to.Either Corral.net or stangnet.com.They switched it just when I was getting used to it.The times are all messed up too.Just wanted to see what other people thought.

I don't mind it too much, it's not all that different, though it will takea little getting used to.
I would like to see the time fixed however, and there is no color change now on links you have already visited. Before, the link would turn a brighter red, and now they stay the same burgundy so it's not as clear what threads you have already read

So far I do not like it, but like anything it'll take some time to get used to it.

This was the #1 request we had for the board. For all the people who lived in the For sale section, they wanted it split up.

Thumbs up I like it

It's not that different from what we were used to with the UBB bulletin board, and I like the cool new options offered by vB code. It makes it easier to make things bold or italicized for folks who aren't familiar/comfortable with UBB code and/or HTML.

Also, the new smilies rock!

You guys are already overusing this one: LOL

OK here is one thing that I want to know how to do though: some of you have an icon beneath your name in the left-hand column. How do you do that? Is it something in my profile?

Which reminds me, my sig needs updating...

You mean avatars Rebecca? Like the one I have?

You have to donate $5 to the general board bandwith fund to get one.

Then do you get to pick your own avatar (like from your own computer) or do you select from a list?

You get to pick your own. It just has to be 75x75 pixels or less, and less then 5k I believe. And obviously it has to be appropriate, but those are the general guidelines. There is a thread in the lounge outlining the procedure, but I'm too lazy to link to it right now. Sorry!
