Well, it is that time again. I am going to be buying a new project car here in the next 6-8 weeks. I am looking to do a head and cam package or a Turbo system right away.

So, I am hoping people from the board can help me find my next car. Can everyone keep their eyes out for a good car. The following is a list of my wants:

1. HAS to be an Auto
2. 1998-2002 Camaro or TA (of course SS, Z28, firebird, formula etc.)
3. Absolutley No Red Cars.
4. As close to stock as possible
5. As low miles as possible.
6. Traction Control if at all possible.

I appreciate any help I can get in finding something.

Rob posted he sold his car on Jan. 3rd. I have a black 2001 Trans Am A4 for sale that is bone stock and has been babied. I bought it to mod but found a Firehawk that I just had to have. It has traction control and 2001 is the first year of the LS6 intake standard from the factory. Chrome wheels and the GSC tires are fairly new. 39800 miles. I owe $15380 on it.

I can def. check it out, but when will be the determining factor. it'll have to be on a weekend cause its dark all other times. it should be light out and the car should be clean and dry. ask him for the vin, so you can have a carfax report on it, and I can look it up at work to see if there were any warranty repairs in its history. sounds like this fella has put a couple dollars into it. how much is he askin? but yeah, Im sure it moves pretty good too. did he tell you any qrtr times? Im guessing low 11's on the juice. considering it can launch. but Im doubting those budniks are very good for the drag strip. anything 17" and forget it pretty much. but if we bolt on my et streets, now were talkin. sat. s would be the only days I could do anything. cause sund. mournings are dedicated to my current project and family time. sat. mourning would be best. but Im not even sure I could do it this week. have you seen pics of the car yet? with only 8800 mi.s on it, it should be spotless pretty much. does the trans have any warranty?

The following is a link to the car with some pics. I talked with the guy a few mins ago. He says he is the second owner. I am not sure........ He says he has never taken it to the track or dyno. The car looks spotless in the pics. He is asking $23,500. He says he doesn't have the receipts because the guy that owned it before him got divorced and the X wife would not give them up or they got lost. He says he has 4 cars and he hasn't really drove this car much.

bill, that car looks really nice. andy's car is very sweet too. I got to help him with it a little last year. thats one big mean nasty SC. only prob. I can see is his car has a th400 and IM not sure if its still auto. shifted. might be manual valvebody. if not the th400s need tweakin to shift at WOT at the right rpm while in drive.

How you been bud? Im back around, tuning never got done on the car APE didnt want anything to do with it anymore so they shut me out, quit returning my calls and such. Now Im looking around for a shop to troubleshoot all my problems, and go over APE's work to make sure I dont have to legally go after them for building a turd. Im touring with the ISCA competeing for championship points which is very fun, and has been successful so far, got a new converter, just need it installed, maybe you can help out, Im thinking Livernois can help me, but if they want to charge me hourly Im not going to go there either. May end up out of state to finish this car. Billy, if your interested make me a high dollar offer, but FYI i turned down a cash offer this summer. I hope you get a car soon though, you been out of the scene too long!!
