I have heard of guys making 200 passes runnig deep in to the 11s with a stock 10 bolt. But I wouldent trust it, it would be a long $hitty ride home from the dragstrip in a towtruck
Its a chain reaction, as soon as i replace the rear end iwill probly bust the drive shaft or U joints, than after that the clutch will go... and so on

Re: New Best ET for hugger...

Whats the website for Milan Dragway. I wanna see how far it is from where i live because i just realized that a friend of mine, she lived down here for 1 year and then went back to Michigan again. And she lived in Milan MI. She's a senior right now at Milan HighSchool or whatever its called. I wanna visit her but i know its a good drive from where i'm at. Milan Dragway is a really good track isn't it? i might just have to make it up there sometime, they ever have any FBody drag days up there?

a few of the fastest stock internals(high 10, low 11) cars are still running the stock rears......they have autos with stalls though....cushions the blow to the rear a bit......

milan's the only track i've been to, but i like it alright.....i ran a 12.5 at 112(1.8 60') this summer when it was 80 plus degrees with humidity above 80....
i've got macs with dual cutouts, ftra, and nitto drs....i have a stock rear with the ta girdle and an auburn carrier with 3.73 gears.....i ran my tires psi at just under twenty and basically just feathered it a bit from idle at the light and didn't spin too bad, although i did chrip in second on one run!
