Question Need Vented Opti LT1 Engine Timing Cover

Posting this for a friend who is currently re-building his 1994 Camaro LT1 motor and I've convinced him to make the switch to the newer vented Opti Spark during this re-build.

He's already bought a new "vented" Opti, new cam, and will be buying the vaccuum harness, but he's still looking for the newer style engine timing cover with the "big" distributor hole for the vented style Opti's. Anyone local here have one around, or know where to get one in the Detroit area?

Also, if we get the newer cover designed for the OBD II engine which uses the crank position sensor.......do we have to use the OBD II harmonic dampner also? I've heard it has a longer hub to accomodate the "bulge" in the cover where the crank position sensor goes.

TIA for any replies!
