DO you have a volt meter? If so, plug it in and attach it to the battery.

Next, begin pulling fuses, one at a time. You should see a small voltage increase as you pull the fuse with the current drain. Dome light circuit may require you to remove the interior lamps when the doors are open. That might help you determine which circuit is causing the drain.

the best way to do it is to hook up the voltmeter in series with the batt. and watch milliamps/amps. if the car was good, it would only pull about 10-30ma draw w/everything off. you could tow it out to me at my dealership and i can give you a good guy rate, but Im still too booked up for side work at home. if you can take it to my work for me to work on there, I can def. help you out by only charging you a little time on the order, then we can do the rest of the side. you car might be very easy to fix, or it can be very tedious work depending on what is causing the draw. typically its a component thats not goin to sleep when the car is turned off like the bcm, radio, glovebox light, things like that. but sometimes is this tiny freakin wire in a harness with 100 other wires and you gotta take the harness apart to track it down. my dealership is bob sellers pont.gmc in farmington hills right off the freeway where 696/96W/and 275 all come together. pm me if you want to discuss this or set something up. BTW, this is what I do for a living so you'll be in good hands. also, if you have anything interesting for a trade Id do work for trade too.
later

i talked to adam today, i told him the same thing, check the optima, they are known to occaisonally have bad cells and short out inside, he took it in and that's exactly what it was. they gave him a new battery, now we just need an update!!!
