Question need some help finding some parts

hey just wondering if any of u michigan guys, maybe surrounding states, could help me out locating some things. I've decided to leave the car along for now, maybe an exhaust or somethin next summer, but i want to do a project i've wanted to do for a few years.

Junkyards, salvage yards, totalled, doesnt matter as long as i can get some of the pieces off of it. What is it? A 94+ dodge ram, 2500 probably, 4x4, with the V-10, prefer autp but will take manual. I know they are a very hard find, especially without costing a ton. I'm going to put the engine, tranny, axles, and anything else useful, maybe fuel tank and pumps, on a jeep frame. After thats done, it'll have around a 10-14 inch lift and some38's or 39's. Trail runner, mud bogger, sand duner, anything i can think of. But i need a V-10 ram to do it. I know i can get just as much power out of a V-8 if i wanted to but its just the idea, not too many people have a 10 in a jeep and its just something different.

Anyone who knows of any trucks, good yards to look for parts (also need the jeep frame right now, body can wait till way later) or places with wrecked trucks, or nonrepairables?? I've been doing some searches but havent come up with much for around here.

Anyone that does or can point me a direction or anything would be a great help. thanks in advance

Bryan

Hey there

have you tried any wreckers north of the boarder? . Since the U.S dollar goes a heck of a lot further in Canada give look up here

I'am situated closer to the buffalo crossing, and rather large auto recycler yard is "Miller Auto wrecker" located in Fort Erie Canada. They usally have a lot of newer cars/trucks Good luck!

hey thanks i didnt even think about canada. I live down by grand rapids so its a little bit of a drive but i might just have to make a trip up there. The place you mentioned, would you know their number by chance, might just call and see what they have and if its what i like just make one trip.

Quentin - tried calling today, got the voicemail. I'll try again tomorrow (Thursday) probably somewhere around 4 or a little after

thanks again for the help
