anyone have one factory or otherwise? anyone know if other vehicle stock shifters will work?

 

i have my stock shifter from my 93 firebird. but im asuming ur looking for a camaro shifter. and mines from a 4L60 hydromatic

 

i need one that will bolt up to a 4l60e. don't care what vehicle it's out of so long as it will work. i can make brackets if necessary to adapt something but i would prefer an f-body shifter. if it will bolt up to a 4l60e let me know as i don't know what works and doesn't. i have a 700-r4 stock shifter and mega shifter and neither work.

so u want hte cable or the shifter witht he cable? plus i dunno if mine will work. but u can give it a shot its just chilling in my garage.

 

i have a 4l60-e and no shifter. i haven't even picked it up yet but i know i need a shifter so i may or may not need a cable. at this point i'll take what i can get to be able to get it in and out of gear. i am not looking to spend alot so if it isn't free or cheap i'll rent one if someone has it til i can figure something out that fits my custom setup. i just need something that will work for a temp position, conditon is not concern.

I should have one, bought a whole t-56 to 4l60e kit! I will look in the garage later!

i found it, is missing the boot and maybe something lese not sure! Have a bunch of stuff you could look at! where do you live?

 

mines sitting in the garage just collecting dust. and prolly some rust. exposed metal kidna tends tod o that.

guys i'm on the east side between detroit and port huron. i don't care how it looks so long as i can make it work as i need it more for dimensions and temporary purpose to get the trans in and out of gear. so if anyone has one they are not too attached to that i could have or borrow for a short period please let me know and i'll come to get it.

deffinatly dont need mine anymore, I switched to a 3-spd and Pro Ratchet....but like i said, I dont have a cable... and im just north of flint lol
