I'v got one sitting in the corner(been sitting there for 4yrs?),havent giving it much thought about selling it though?,its complete except for aternator relatively low milage(39XXXmi),but I've been thinking about doing a mild buildup on it soon,I do have a hot cam, roller rocker,52mmTB setup sitting on the side(used taken from my current ride)as well as some new parts for it such as impy head gaskets, pushrods, rocker arm studs, prgrammed ecm, engine wireing harness, who knows what else?,If I sell it, it all goes, auto trans also avail at extra$,e-mail me if interested?while I think of a price.

You know, if Adam keeps this stuff up he'll have a fast car.

Hey Adam, if you need help either picking up an engine or building it, maybe we could all have another KFC party. I just had come crispy strips on Friday for the first time since your Hotcam install. I could learn to like them.

I learned a valuable (sp?) lesson-
Never settle for 4 crispie strips when you can have 8

Ohh wait, i already learned that lesson with cars

So did you the 4 or 8 krispie strips?

edit:
I got my truck
thanks for the advice
i think i'd kill myself if i got the WRX
Although i had to settle for the 4.8 instead of the 5.3 it should be fine to tow the Z 20 miles.
Listening to your advice (and parents) to get a GOOD RELIABLE daily driver and put the Z aside was the best thing i ever did!

I wonder whatever happened with that broken valve spring shim Adam called me about a few nights ago? Could that have prompted this request for an engine he can rebuild?

Hey Dave, I know I got more chicken strips than you. If you had 6 I must have had 8.

hey mike and others,

me and dave found that WE didn't remove 3 of the old valve shims before putting the new ones on. .....so the new ones where making noise and ended up breaking and chipping their way into the oil pan.

i ordered a hotcam kit, minus the springs, cam ,rockers and was gonna replace everything, but me and dave decided to use the old shims

anyways, so thats what happend.

i'm still looking to build a motor over the summer.

i need to sell my work van though to get some cash again!!!
asking 500 cash

Adam,

You know, most people have action shots of their cars, but you have one of it on ramps in your garage. Is that cuz that's what it's doing most of the time? Hehe.

Well, if you decide to rebuild another engine this summer and want to sell your existing one, I'd make an offer for it. Next winter it'll be about time for me to build mine up. I'll be porting the heads a little though while I'm at it.
