I just need to get a basic rebuild done on my 700R4 out of my Suburban. I have never had any luck with rebuild shops, but I heard there was a good one on Joy road, anyone know anyhting about this place, like where on Joy it is, how good of a shop it is, and how there prices are?

Any other good shops that anyone knows of? I just don't want to spend a fortune and get a tranny back that's only gonna last me until the warrenty expires, played that game with my T5's.

 

joel's on joy over by telegraph. i had him do a trans for me quite a few years back and it was good the day i sold it to mike on here. i paid extra to build my current 700-r4 because he didn't trust a 700's capabilities. i appreciate his honesty and wish i would have let him try anyhow rather then spending extra money somewhere else.

seemed like a good guy all around, i wouldn't leave my car outside though overnight.

Last price I got from him for a 700R4 was $550 and he warrantried it at 550hp.

 

Black Plague our Hockey goalie does them if you remember that guy. I think he was big into those and the 200's because of the buick crowd. He almost got my money instead of Pro Built.
