a couple months back my brother blew the engine in this car (3.1L V6) so he ended up getting a stang, but now his job is having him travel alot so he wants to get it back running to keep from putting unnecessary miles on the stang. i told him i could get it back together if i found an organ donor, so does anyone know where i could possibly find this engine in the detroit area, like places i could call?

Check out car-parts.com. Put in what you need and what state you need it in and you get everything available in that state. Great site. I just did a check and they have decent mile running LT-1's for as low as $650. It's nice to be able to check from home.

 

thanx, im gonna see what the junkyard site finds for me but theres alot of decent running ones on the car-part site so i guess ill make a decision and get started with my new project. thanx guys
