Thumbs up My Special thanks and apologies!

THANX TO:

1) Wife, Sue and brother, Lynn for pushin' the bird so #2 could occur!
2) HR Hawk * Making Redbird CONSISTANT about 6 weeks ago!
3) ALL the others in the pits whom had helped push the Rainbow Warrior.
4) RRRR whom never fails to remind me I'm an Idiot.
5) Jason Debbler & helpers for ANOTHER fun/fantastic event!
6) Quinton for checking on me after the staging lane incident.
7) Darren Erruti for coming up fron St. Louie! GREAT to see ya again, bud... GREAT to see EVERYONE again, BELIEVE ME!

The story about the staging lanes is about one IDIOT driver that probably has been down a dragstrip more times then any 20 people you could name there. AND... I should have known better!

Had been running the race with 75 HP pills. Once I red lighted in the 6th round with a .499 light, I went back and put in the 150
pills for another shot at the tens. Turned the corner of the staging lanes and NAILED it to so called 'Purge The Lines'. Well... 150 hp ACTS a whole lot different than 75, believe me! To shorten the story I was coming upon a beautiful T-Type Buick IN A HURRY!

I just got Redbird stopped behind the Buick and in staging lane's #1 & 2. JUST PLAIN STUPID. You guyz should have yanked me out of the car and kicked my butt good, but no one dogged me about it. I think everyone knew I was pretty ashamed! Thanks!

The one attempt at the tens failed when the injector wiring became loosened and rendered #3 injector pretty much useless. Still went an 11.35 @ 120 on 7 cylinders .

If you figure out my best 1/8th mile time (7.20) to Q-mile time It equals about 11.02...*** THIS was on 75 hp N2O jetting. On the 150, with all wires connected I figure a 10.80 @ 125 number was probable.

Again thanks and GOD Bless you all!

HInk (Still pretty stupid feeling)

Thumbs up M8

Hink,
I think that I can speak for everyone at M8 when I say that we enjoyed watching your billowing burnouts and wheel-hiking launches. Everything after that is just "details".

Hink it was a pleasure to get your tune sorted out for ya. It's always good when ya hit it with just a couple of small changes in the ecm ( injector idle balance and wot timing). I had been wondering how the redbird had been running since our time spent at Lapeer...
...sure looked good saturday!!

I'm not try'n to pee on your day bro but the 1/8 mile to 1/4 mile formula
¼ Mile ET = (1/8 Mile ET + .22) / .655
comes up with a 1/8 mile run of 6.98 or quicker to hit the ten's.

You and I know you have a ten second run in the car...
... no problem!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Arrow Hopefully...

... I'll be ending the bouncing with some real drag front shocks next year. That way, when she comes up, she'll stay up and carry longer. It just unloads itself when it bounces.

I sure am glad you and your wife had a great time, Kevin!

I got some more video for you, I just need to work it up. I've dedicated a prominent place on the CZ28.com video for you and your car, by the way. Burnout, wheels-up launch, etcetera. I think there's even some titles in there that I flash onto the screen for 66 milliseconds, with subliminal messages about you...

Shhhhh! Dont tell! Just don't play it backwards or you'll get a headache~~

We have some good video of the Redbird too. In all of the bouncing the right front tire actually comes off the ground twice

Are you missing a battery charger????

i was quite impressed with your w.o.t. testing of the bird in the staging lanes. my buddies and i were standing right there when you did it and only didn't go over there to you because we figured by that point you should have realized how dumb it was and you'd already had a crowd. good to see you standing up to it. btw, you do a damn fine burnout.
