ok, its that time again. again like every year I'll offer free entrance tickets to anyone that wants them. my work (bob sellers pont/gmc) sponsors the show at the novi expo. center every year so I get the free pass's. you'll still have to pay for parking though. there's usually a handfull of fbodys there every year but its not a huge show really. I think it was like 175 cars there last year. down from theyear before. all kinds of cars. also, there is a bike show attached to it and that is HUGE. email me if you'd like to get some pass's.

also, if anyone would be interested in doin the show let me know. it'd be cool to have some more people to hand out with at the show. I'll have my 95 and my old man will be there with his MECHAM TA.

Whats up chris.. Im probably gonna drag the car out for the show. I dont think i want to deal with doing the autorama again this year since its still not finished.My new shops just down the street from the Expo Center so pullin it down shouldnt be too bad.Just gotta weld up some seat brackets and it should be showable.. drop me a pm with the rates and what not and ill get some loot out to you or whoever is setting anything up.

cory you should, i tried to tell steve and the rest that those of you with running cars should go. it isn't anything like motorama with all the pressure and expenses yet it's still an indoor show with a decent showing and good atmosphere. it use to be put on by united street machine, not sure if it still is but that's it's only true downfall. reguardless though it's a fun time and a inexpensive way to experience an indoor show.

Are you handing out passes for spectators? If so, maybe I can arrange to see you on Friday? I'll check with my wife & see if she'll hang out with the kids that night. We're heading to NOVI on Sunday too, but there wont be time to check out the show that day, I dont think.

 

cory and scott, I dont get any special price for entering the show, but with muti. cars entering we do get a discount. the way it works is the first car pays $20 to enter, then the rest of the cars pay $15 ea. so I figure we can split the cost up equally and it'll end up costing us ea. around $17 or so. the thursday before the show is the day to bring down your car and put it in there. we need to meet up in the parking lot and bring the cars in together so we can put the cars together and hang out. they'll make us disconnect the batt.s, and were supposed to have less then a half tank of gas. however dont worry if you have more, just try not to fill up before bringin the cars down. as jeff said, its nowhere near as much of a hassle as the autorama. the only time you HAVE to be there is the day you bring the car in and the sun. around 5-6pm when the cars leave the building. so if you cant be there fri. or sat. dont worry bout it too much. I'll be there the whole time though.

everyone else I have free spectator pass's. you just need to call me and come pick them up.

Cory if you are definately wanting to do it, as you should then talk with chris. i'm sure he wouldn't mind helping you get in and letting you know what to do. unfortunately the car isn't together as i have had some bad shop problems but i'll help out all i can if you need it.

 

well im thinking about it..my car is by no means "flawless". I need a front license plate cover. Im not sure how i wanna get it there..seeing as how i have no trailor...and the insurance is off it....i didnt know it was a week away lol
