Milan Wednesday!

It's my bday and my dad is paying so we'll be there with both of our cars. A few of our friends are going as well (fbodies) and I hope to see some of the rest of you up there. Look for the fastest quasar blue camaro there (unless taner shows up ). Hope to see you guys there!

Sean, Think if we could get anough people to commit it would be better to try and rent it instead? I don't really want to pay $20 for 2-4 runs in 4 hours, and blow each one of them. I'd rather pay more and get as many runs as I need.

Notice he said "fastest blue camaro". That's because the red 94 Z28 is going to own him Wednesday night.

Well I'm going wednesday for sure cuz it's free for me but yeah I'd be willing to try and get a group together to rent it out. I prolly should get a few nitrous runs in to test everything out so I don't embarrass my self at m8 . Let me know what you wanna do but hopefully you'll make it out wednesday too.

And old man...What's the best your car has run? 11.8's? You'll definitly need to up the ante once I'm on a working tranny and my suspension pieces are put on this Thursday. And it's not even going to be a race once I open up the bottle .

Unfortunately, I fear the race will be to see whose 10-bolt stock rear goes first.

You better not have jinxed us limige .

My dad won't ever break his because he drives like an old woman . We could stick a honda-strength rear in there and i'll hold up for years. I, on the other hand, might be breaking mine . I'm going to try a few different tranny table tricks to make sure it really is my tranny that is slipping 2-3 and not just a computer problem.

The correct tables to modify are "kickdown hot, kickdown normal, and kickdown shift points" right?

Weather for tomorrow at Milan:
Wed
Oct 01 Partly Cloudy 54°/30° 10 % chance of rain. Sounds like a good day to go racing!

Is that weather forecast for tomorrow, (ONLY 10% chance of showers), for real??? We have about thirty five(35) Warren Mott High School automotive students to take to Milan tomorrow IF the weather's good. We've already postponed this field trip once, so we are ALL hoping for decent, (read DRY), weather tomorrow.

And yep, we'll all be watching the "Battle of the Simpson's Camaro's" to see who gets "bragging rights" for the rest of the winter.

Sorry Sean, I know it's YOUR birthday but I'm putting my money on your Dad's "Red Zed".

See you both tomorrow, IF the weather's good.

Ken

I posted that off of the weather.com site and I just checked again now and same thing.

Patrick...That's why I said "honda strength" not "honda rear" ya melvin!

Ken...I hope his car is beats me in a way. How bad would you feel if you bought a 396 stroker and lost to a stock bottom end, stock headed (p/p'ed), stock tb, bone stock suspension (just sfc's), decent cam and that's about it car.

Just wait til the spray goes on .

Weather report as of 4:30PM Tuesday.
Wednesday
Numerous showers. Highs 49 to 53. Southwest winds 5 to 15 mph...becoming west 10 to 20 mph. Chance of rain 60 percent.
Wednesday Night
Mostly cloudy during the evening. Partly cloudy overnight. Brisk. Scattered rain showers and snow showers during the evening...then scattered light snow showers. Lows 33 to 37. Northwest winds 15 to 25 mph...decreasing to 10 to 20 mph. Chance of precipitation 40 percent.

Although the water droplets that we'll see at Milan may not be due to precipitation. It may be LTLHOMER's disappointment over NOT beating the "Old Man".

I'll show you how to break a rear; give me YOUR keys.
