Thought I would get a post started and see who is definately going.

I will be there to get some 1/8 mile runs in early, and make sure everything is working ok, then later on when it gets busier, I will try and let a couple of passes rip and see if I can get booted.

Look for me in a 00 blue formula ws6 clone with et streets on the back.

Look forward to meeting ya, all are welcome to stop by. I plan on being there at 4 ready to go.

So, how did it go Rodd?
Post some of your times, how is the track this year?

I never ended up getting my car back from APE. Having some problems with the car. I know the problem but won't comment on it. The guys at APE did a good job. I guess I will not get to see the 10's this year

I hope to be at the track next week and see what happens. I think the mid 12's are still possible?

Later,

well milan seems average. that may be an improvement over years past. it wasn't my best 60's ever but it got me down the track.

Weather was very good, and I posted some new best mph's in the 1/8 and 1/4. and still almost a new best et, considering the mild launch and the BIG problem.....

on the last run, smoked the tranny. Not sure what is wronf, I was able to drive it home in 2, 4 and 5th gear; but it aint good.

Gonna need some synchro's, shift forks, and probably 3rd gear and who knows what else.

Anyone have a hookup for fixing these things? 1000 or so seems ridiculus to me.

oh, well thats the price you pay.

best mph run was an 11.51 on a 1.85 60' launching at 3000 (crappy). 1/8 mph was 100.39 1/4 mph was also a best 125.25.

Best et run was a 4000 rpm launch, 1.73 60' and 11.36 at 124.9 mph. (and a blown up tranny).

maybe it would have been better if it didn't break, I doubt it.

I was there tonight, trying to remember if I saw your car or not. I ran my best ever at 14.26@98.29mph. Car is far more powerful then last year, but the tires just spin. Next step for the stang is good tires, maybe then Ill be as fast as a Z-28 with an automatic.

Still trying to decide if I like this Tri-Ax shifter. Out of 7 passes, I missed 3rd gear 5 times. Stock shifter, I missed twice last YEAR.
It might be in the trash if it goes like this much longer.

Z-28 automatic LS-1, LT-1, or L98? Cause I just ran 13.2 in a stock auto z28 LS-1. And Ive seen stock auto LT-1s run 13.9. Auto TPI Irocs run around 14.2 stock.

That tri-ax has tons of adjustments on it, which i'm sure you know, might just need to adjust the stops a bit more, or maybe even make the throw shorter on it, etc.. I've driven my buddy's car with a tri-ax and never had a problem..

Hey Rod,
A guy just posted an LS1 T56 for sale yesterday on the fourth gen mailing list. Asking $700 and I could get it from him at Indy in 2 weeks so there would be no shipping.
