Michigan meets....

well it's about that time, so here are some things going on in our area with your local f-bodies and where to find us.



Cruisin' Gratiot in Eastpointe: June 19, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Related events scheduled June 14-19; along Gratiot between 8 Mile and 10 Mile. For more information, contact: 586-552-1366 or www.cruisin-gratiot.com.

Cruisin' Downriver: June 26, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.; along Fort Street from Sibley to Outer Drive. Cruise goes through Lincoln Park, Wyandotte, Southgate and Riverview. For more information, contact: Southern Wayne County Chamber of Commerce, 734-284-6000, ext. 0; www.cruisindownriver.com.

CAMARO SUPERFEST-july 2-4th located in Ann Arbor. racing is held on friday. show is saturday and sunday with a cruise saturday night. anyone interested come and find us saturday after the show.

Mt. Clemens Bud Light Classic Car Cruises: June 5, July 10 and Aug. 14, 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. Main Street from Cass Avenue to Clinton. Contact: 586-465-2222 or 586-493-7660 anytime. www.mhraonline.org/bbac.html.

Mt. Clemens classic car show: 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. July 10 on Main Street, from Market Street to Cass Avenue. To register, visit the Bearing Burners Car Club's table from 6 to 8:30 p.m. July 9 on the east side of Main Street at Clinton, or register from 7 to 10 a.m. at the car show location on July 10. Clinton Township Gratiot Cruise: Aug. 1, noon to 6:30 p.m.Along Gratiot from Wellington Crescent and 14 Mile. For more information, contact: 586-468-0200 or www.clintontownshipgratiotcruise.com.

Cruising with the Oldies: Downtown Utica, Aug. 7, 2 to 8 p.m. Auburn Road between Van Dyke and the Clinton River Bridge. Registration is $5 per car. To register, visit Utica City Hall, 7550 Auburn Road from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays or register before the cruise in front of City Hall. For more information, call 586-739-1600 anytime.

Woodward Dream Cruise: Aug. 21, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.; along Woodward from Pontiac to Ferndale. Contact: 888-493-2196 or www.woodwarddreamcruise.com.

Kiwanis Harper Charity Cruise: Aug. 25,5 to 9 p.m., along Harper from Bon Heur, south of 11 Mile, to California, north of 8 Mile. For more information, contact: Mike Thompson at 586-243-0428 anytime or Brian Mazey at 586-294-0020 between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.

North Gratiot Cruise in Chesterfield Township: Sept. 12, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., along Gratiot from Hall Road to 23 Mile. Sponsored by Motor City Car Club, which will hold a Monday night car show at Red Robin restaurant on Hall Road. Contact: Bob Fellmy, 586-792-4695, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

**this show is personally put on by some very close friends of my the Motor City Streetrodders and it's for a very good cause so if anyone can make this one in particular that would be great!**

Downtown Mt. Clemens car cruise and car show: Every Wednesday, starts at 5:30 p.m.; Main Street in downtown Mt. Clemens.

Wild Woodys: Gratiot and 14 mile in roseville sundays 4-8pm

Universal Mall car cruise: Every Thursday, starts at 5 p.m. Parking lot of Universal Mall at 12 Mile and Dequindre in Warren; Contact: Rock Bottom Bob's Cruise Mania memorabilia store, 586-582-9350


were also looking to get an all f-body gathering together this year with some of the michigan guys out on woodward. if anyone is up for this and any of the other events posted above please post here or email me. see you guys at the shows! if you have any more michigan events please feel free to post them....

Cruisin' The Gut

July 17th & September 18th. Downtown Lansing. Only cars that can get in the show have to be from 1979 and older but its fun to go to and represent.

You can go but you cant be a physical part of the show. You can still get in there and park 'n **** but you aren't going to win any awards or anything, its fun to check out the old school **** though. They usually do a flame throwing contest 'n ****.
