i need to know where in the hell I can find a good Hamburger joint. Drive inn would be nice. Around warren, troy that area. I mean I looked on woodword blvd. and didn't see any. Besides a chicken shack.

I think there is a National Coney Island somewhere in that area... But pretty much any Coney Island has a better selection then most fast food joints.

 

It's kind of out of the way, but Green's Hamburgers in Farmington Hills. Farmington Rd around 12 mile on the west side of the road. Hit it in yahoo if interested.

I'm sure there is a few in the Royal Oak area too...

 

The Hunter House, southbound Woodward just north of Maple (15 mile).

 

Comet Burger, toward the north end of downtown RO on main street.

 

There's a Fuddruckers just west of Troy on Woodward.

Screw ALL those places. You want a GOOD burger? Come to livonia. Take 96 and get off at Farmington road. Go south, and immediately turn left. Masons Bar and Grill has THE BEST burger I have ever had. Go for the house burger, called the double shift. It's a hole in the wall UAW bar, but god damn are those burgers delicious!

 

i know you said drive in but seriously on woodward in royal oak north of 13 mile go to red coat tavern.. seriously the best burgers

red coat is pretty good. fuddruckers as well. also, try the red robins on john r, MMMMM bottomless steak fries/drinks.

 

On eastbound 11 mile road, just west of Groesbeck there is a microbrewery called Dragonmead. http://www.dragonmead.com

Go there, order a beer and a cheeseburger and a basket of fries. It won't cost you much and it is awesome from top to bottom. Quiet place, kinda cool. They make their own sodas, too.

There is always Culver's as well. Heard good things about it, but never been there. There is one in Roseville.

Looks like 1 or 2 in this thread actually owns an F-body.

 

Forget the burgers try Potbelly Sandwich Shoppe on the corner of Woodward and Normandy. Great toasted Sandwiches and cheap to boot.

 

Yeah but they're tiny, you have to eat like 3 of them. There's anotherplace in livonia with a STUPID name, Cheeburger Cheeburger, by schoolcraft college that's pretty damn good too.
