Question marine shop???

anyone know of a shop or someone personally who knows how to work on personal watercraft?

i've got a jetski that my girlfriend beached in the summer and i need to get it fixed. i don't know the first thing to look for as i only had it for less than a month before it happened.

any suggestions of a place to go or someone who might know what to look for would help me out alot!

Jeff check with Sparky over by Garys shop on the opposite end of the building. He is the man when it comes to glass work and a buddy of Garys....he'll hook you up.

the gel coating and overall ski is fine!

like i said, she throttled up to the beach (basically beaching the jet ski) but instead of shutting it off she held the throttle down which i assume sucked up sand and somehow clogged the setup.

the jetski runs fine until you go to use the throttle....that's where it begins to bog and start smoking....

wish i would have been near her to make her shut it off.

if anyone has any ideas or is even willing to look at it i'm all for working something out!

i just don't want to take it to a shop paying $75+ an hour or whatever the deal is only to have them make something up and i end up needing a whole new engine or whatever the case because i don't know enough.

i'll be happy to trailer it to where ever i need to go as well.
