GOD DANG IT chris and jason. couldnt you guys have scheduled this around my schedule? seems thats the same day as the MICHIGAN/IOWA game that I have tickets to. and I just figured this out yesterday when I was looking at the football schedule. decisions decisions.

lol i wish i could make that. its looking grim. i dont think i cann pull a motor and trans, and put a SBC 350 carbed, and TH350 trans. and work out all the bugs. and have it running in two weeks. lol. unless i got some mad @$$ help. Ne takers? lol

2 things, first off its only Michigan, that should be an easy decision.

Second, my motor is still at the machine shop, completly disassembled, and I intend on making it to M9 and the dyno between now and then. That is no excuse

 

dammit! My car is acting up on me RIGHT before M9... GRR... I hope I can figure out wtf is wrong. I think my front right caliper is seizing up on me and not letting go when I get off the brake.

 

Just take it off you don't need brakes.

Don't yell at Chris, he is only a participant. This event is solely my nightmare. I only say this because people always run up to Chris at this event asking him questions that he doesn't know the answers to.

Chris, you know you should skip the football game and go racing, you will finally have your camaro finished and you need to test out the 383. Michigan sucks anyway, I know people that are often throwing their tickets away and you should of told me earlier so that my brother could get you tickets, he hates U of M football, just likes the engineering department. If you don't go you could always leave me the keys to your camaro and I'll let you know how it runs. Anyway hope it is nice weather, I might take off my camber brace and front sway bar to cut a good 50 pounds off the front of the car and see how it runs.

 

Check the brake hoses before you go buying a new caliper. On my way to M5, I had a brake hose collapse and it did the exact same thing.

 

I couldn't figure it out. I dropped it off at a shop that we do business with and they're checking it all out. Its completely weird.

 

john, well Im not sure the camaro will be done anymore. I did have to get a new #5 main cap, so back to the machine shop it goes this week. hopefully it'll only be a couple more days. dont know when he can get to it yet. it sucks cause its only bout .0005 too tight, and it act. lines up very nicely. but Im not doin it cheap, I want it right. so to the line hone it goes. ohwell, it'll be that much better now I guess.
Im thinkin of maybe just leaving the game a little early, maybe between 3-4 qrtr. and showing up a little late to M9. that way I could still do both. not sure if thats possible yet though.

jason, Im not really yelling at you, just venting I guess do to how things worked out.

and Q, yeah, its only MICHIGAN, the winningest of all college football teams. haha
