M8 Covered in Feb issue of Speed, Style & Sound Magazine!

Cool...just got the February 2004 issue of S3, and as promised, M8 was written about in it (page 52).

It was only a one-pager, and there are some facts not quite right. For example, the event is not always late October (M9 will be in late September) and Chris Frezza is a specator at the M Events, not an organizer (I don't think he would care to share my headaches ).

BUT....

Who cares about that? The event got written up and I am thrilled about it! It was very well written, the pics are great!

Thanks Chris White and the rest of S3 magazine! Hopefully, we will see you at M9!

Don't sweat it, everyone thinks that. I mean, I can't do it witout his advice and such, plus his faincee helps out in the booth once in a while.

No complaints from me, after 8 years of doing the event (more or less) I am absolutely thrilled to see it in a magazine.

THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!

So then you'll be there for M9? ;0

I have a feeling that M9 is gonna be even bigger and better.

I have to check with the boss but as far as I'm concerned yup I'll be there! Hopefully with one of the cars this time hehe

BTW those of you having a hard time finding it check out Barnes & Noble I believe almost ALL of them carry it.

(Sorry about the lack of commas in this post I have no idea why the comma key on this POS computer doesn't work!)

So do I, and for the following reasons:

1) It's being published in magazines now
2) It's being discussed a full nine months in advance
3) There's an outlaw racing club that is planning on coming, which is sure to attract attention from race clubs from around the area
4) The DVD is going to draw attention to the event as it is marketed.
5) WOM (word of mouth) advertising is beginning to reach critical mass: It's turning into a "must attend at all costs" kind of Michigan event.

I'm betting we haven't seen the peak yet: I have an idea that M10 will be twice as big as M9, and will attract media attention from PHR, Super Chevy, and more.
