There is no alternate date. There will not be a need for one anyway. This happens every year and turns out fine.

See the other M7 posts and look for the comments about weather.

My truck has 4WD. It'll launch fine on a wet track.

Besides, worst case... if it's OK to race snowmobiles at the track... why not a jet ski???

Some of the most racing fun I ever had was in the rain! I did an autocross in the rain once... I also did an open lapping session at Gingerman in the rain once. Sure, we "explored" the paddock a few times, but still, there ain't nuttin like a good powerslide onto the straightaway and seeing a Porsche hydroplane out of your way...

20% chance of rain. High of 75 degrees.
High of 72% humidity.

Showers on Friday to clean off the track.

Sounds like a great combination!

I'm like, so excited! First event I'll be able to attend in two years.

Well...yeah...it is dangerous to race in the rain, but it won't rain.

Yeah you are right about that. I accidently jumped tracks on you: It's at Gingerman raceway where men are men and cars race on the track rain or shine.

BTW, there's a Gingerman track event on the 18th if you want to try negotiating corners... I'm still working on trying to get Laura to let me go to that one.
