October 7. The drag racing event usually goes from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with social activities for another couple hours after that.

Kickoff will probably be at noon, but it hasn't been announced yet.

Will you go to the race or go to/watch the game?

Go racing unless you have tickets. Thats what tv and radios are for.

Hey, so long as there are enough people there that I don't make it into the Quick 16, I'm happy.

Jason, roughly how many people do you need for this to be financially viable?

120 to 150 would be optimal

Happened at M7 (or so) too. We just turned on the radios and listened.

Louie K (dark red 4th gen) and his wife and I traded cheers. I think she was an MSU fan, too.

Does anyone know whatever happened to Louie? He got cancer back in '01. I've lost track of him.

well, I have to say, if I dont have tickets, I would def. record it, and listen to it at the races. problem is we only get like 5 sets of tickets a year, and usually we'll get one of the big home games. and since thats the only sure thing big game at this point, we'll prolly get it.

but on another hand, i have to say, this poll is being given to a bias crowd, dont you think? Im just hoping that its an afternoon game (or even a night game like two years ago) so I can do both.

and jason, you do know Im just playing around. but yeah, I'll take you up on that offer. when it comes time to plan M12, let me know. I'll tell you what thte best day/time would be.

That's about right. The rates of the track went up by the HUNDREDS for this year. Insurance costs. No worries, I have no plans nor desire to increase the cost for competitors. I'll figure something out.

Fine. Make sure you check with all 100+ competitors and 150-200 spectators to make sure they have nothing going on that dat as well. Oh yeah...make sure the track isn't already rented that day.

Remember...football games happen all the time, but there is only ONE M Event each year.
