Red face LT1s and LS1s did not represent well at the autorama!

one of the reasons why i went to the autorama was to see some nice LT1/LS1 f-bodies, but boy was i disappointed! i only seen one LT1 f-body (95 cranberry red, boyd coddington rims, shorties flowmaster catback, ...basically stock), and a couple LS1s and such. where were all you guys at, nobody does the autorama anymore???

i always go on the last day b/c i love to hear those 3 beautiful words at 8:00...("fire em up") man those engines get me goin. ide say the best soundin car was that 94-95 boss 429 mustang...talk about a cam !

One of the models at the show said that the turbo WS6 went high 8's on street tires. I find that to be pretty hard to believe when I hear that the motor is pretty much stock.

Plus she said she owned the car and that her bf built it. After I question her about the car running high 8's she said that the car is not street legal.

don't be too hard on the girls....the fact she knew anything at all is better then some. i'm sure it ran 8's maybe she meant the 1/8th right scott??

i thought there were quite a few nice cars there, alot of lt1/ls1...as much as the other half anyhow even if they weren't in their respective cars. you want to see these types of cars just look out the window they are everywhere.........it is too bad that some of the members didn't have their rides done in time though as there are quite a few nice ones in storage...

I think she is confused. Scott does have a pro street 8-7 sec fbody in his shop, but it certainly isn't his red ws6. The car I'm talking about isn't street legal and is a full blown out chassis car.

Anyways, I thought Autorama was lame this year also in the F-body area. Last year when I put my car in there, it seemed like there was a ton of F-bodies.

I did see VetteZilla (yellow twin turbo vette)there so that was a plus.

Jeff your car looked killer.

I hope you guys won something. Both cars looked really good.

Maybe you should keep your personal issues off this site. I see it a lot. It is getting old and nobody cares. This thread (and this site itself) has nothing to do what whatever problems you have, it should have stayed that way.

Whatever it is about, it has gone on long enough and really doesn't belong here.
