lt1 rebuild question
lt1 rebuild question
ok this weekend Im pulling the Lt1 out...
I decided to take it out threw the bottom..
Dreamer do you have any pics when you did yours and how high did you have to lift the front and back?
ok onto the enternal engine..
Im working on a deal for a 355 (just the block) But it has all the bearings and its all ready preped
Im going to use my rods and crank out of current lt1
(dont think forged is nessacary for my app's)
So im getting forged pistons to be safe because i might spray 100 or so on it every once in a while.
Im thinking 224/230 or 230/236 cam (need help deciding)
jet hot lts
heads cleaned up and ported by loyd
mezuire elect. water pump
1.6 rr's and new push rods
What should I look out for while doing the rebuild and what am I forgetting thats important that i shouldnt skimp on..
My goal is to trap 114+ N/A
any one have pics of the rebuild or any info on taken a lt1 post it
